Projects across
environment and territory

AEDI's project work spans demonstrator ecologies, environmental sensing infrastructure, adaptive building systems, governance-facing research, and territorial adaptation frameworks. Projects operate across scales — from the building envelope and courtyard to neighbourhood, urban, and territorial systems — and across geographies in Africa and Europe.

This is a working index. The site is in formation.

Towards Autotrophic Habitats: Research Ecologies in Adaptive-Regenerative Architecture

MArch dissertation establishing the conceptual and methodological foundations from which the practice grows. The first graduate of a practice-based research degree placing the production of environmental knowledge at the centre of architectural inquiry. Completed with Distinction.

Climate-Governance Research + Editorial Work

Research editing and writing across climate governance, territorial adaptation, and environmental transition frameworks for institutional, policy, and multilateral audiences.

Research affiliation · University of Johannesburg
Centre for Ecological Intelligence — Research Affiliate

Ongoing research affiliation extending AEDI's work across institutional boundaries into territory that is harder to name: part research, part observatory, part long-duration environmental practice.
